PUBLIC NOTICE – Regular Budget Committee Meeting July 8, 2013 Cancelled – Public Hearing set for July 15, 2013


NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN to all County Commissioners and residents of Jefferson County, Tennessee, and to all other persons who might be interested, that the regular meeting of the Budget Committee of the Jefferson County Board of County Commissioners for July 8, 2013 has been cancelled.

The Budget Committee will instead convene for a Public Hearing on the intent to consider a resolution to levy a tax rate on all taxable property within Jefferson County boundaries on Monday, July 15, 2013, at 6:00 p.m. in the Main Courtroom, Jefferson County Courthouse, 202 W. Main St., Dandridge.

Any citizen who wants to appear and state their view on the proposed budget for Fiscal Year beginning July 1, 2013 and ending June 30, 2014 should request in writing their intent to speak to the Chairman of the Budget Committee within five (5) days prior to the meeting.   Mail your request to:
