THE NRA YOUTH HUNTER EDUCATION CHALLENGE THIS SATURDAY

The Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency will be hosting the annual NRA Youth Hunter Education Challenge this Saturday, August 3^rd at the John Sevier Hunter Education Center in Knoxville, Tenn. Registration begins at 8:30 a.m.

YHEC is an advanced hunter education program designed to build and further develop skills taught in basic hunter education courses.Participants will enjoy a day of rifle, shotgun, and archery shooting while being instructed by NRA and John Sevier Range safety officers.

Youngsters up to 18 years of age may participate and completion of a hunter education course is not required to attend. Parent or guardian permission is required. No prior experience is necessary, but participants must be able to safely handle and shoulder firearms.
