Free Movie Ticket for Blood Donors, August 29, 2013 C-N Student Center

Help Medic Regional Blood Center prepare for the Labor Day holiday and take advantage of the special offer for blood donors!   On August 29, Medic will offer all donors who roll up their sleeve a free Regal Cinema movie pass that has no expiration date.   “Our donors seem to love the free movie tickets and it’s a great way for us to build our inventory, so it’s a win-win situation,” explains Christi Fightmaster, Medic Spokesperson.   Medic will be closed on Labor Day which means that one full day of no collections.   The special incentive is being offered in hopes of boosting Medic’s inventory in preparation of the holiday.   The blood collected on Thursday will be tested and hospital-ready in the even to of any emergencies on Labor Day.

Jefferson County residents are encouraged to stop by the Student Center at Carson Newman University on August 29 from 9am- 6pm.

Donors must be at least 17 years of age, weigh 110 pounds or more (16 year-old donors weighing 120 pounds or more can donate but must have parental consent) and all donors must have positive identification.
