Regional Favorite “Lost Creek Band” Packs Music On The Town

After a soggy second week for Music on the Town, the event recouped nicely on Thursday evening, as Lost Creek Band played to a large crowd.  The band is a local favorite and it was evident by the number of music lovers that turned out to hear their Bluegrass renditions of some familiar tunes. There is still one more performance left in the concert series. Southern Drawl will play the closing show this Thursday evening. Music on the Town is an every Thursday in September event that is free to the public. Quality entertainers grace the stage behind Town Hall in the Historic Town Square in Dandridge. Local restaurants provide food for purchase and concert goers are encouraged to bring canned food donations for the Dandridge Ministerial Association, as well as a chair or blanket. The door will open at 6pm for food purchase and the music will begin at 7pm. This is the last chance to catch a great concert and visit with old friends, as well as meet some new people, during the 2013 Music on the Town.
