INVITATION TO BID – Sewage Grinder

INVITATION TO BID

The Jefferson County Purchasing Department will be accepting sealed bids for a sewage grinder for Jefferson County High School. Bid will include Equipment, Material, and Labor to install a grinder in the outlet sewage line for Jefferson County High School. Grinder will meet or exceed the specs listed for a JWC Environmental Model 30005-0008-DI Muffin Monster or pre-approved equivalent. Suitable for up to 335 gpm in a flat wall mounted application with a stainless steel turndown at grinder effluent end for safety. All control and protection equipment is to be included in the bid, along with a one year warranty on labor and material.

Customer will provide 480 volt, 3-phase power with a service disconnect in the vicinity of the installation. For more information contact Michael Phagan, Director of Facilities, at 865-397-2139.

Sealed bids should be labeled “sewage grinder bid” and either dropped off or mailed to the attention of Darrell Helton, Finance Director, 1244 Gay Street or P. O. Box 1749, Dandridge, Tn. 37725. Bids will be accepted until 1:00PM, Thursday November 14, 2013 at which time bids will be opened in the finance department office conference room.

Jefferson County reserves the right to accept or reject any and all bids and to waive any irregularities in the receipt/handling of bids.
