STEVE C. PARK, age 79, of Newport, TN passed away Wednesday, November 13, 2013 at Newport Health and Rehab. He was a Mason and Shriner, member of Mannings Chapel Baptist Church, and a veteran of the US Air Force. Preceded in death by wife, Virginia Park; father, Frank S. Parks; brother, Frank S. Park, Jr.; special friend, Nell Trentham. Survived by son, Charles Park (Michelle); mother, Ellen C. Parks of Newport, TN; brother, Connie R. Parks (Caroline), Harold Parks of Myrtle Beach, SC, Wallace Parks (Judy) of White Pine, TN; grandchildren, Valerie Miller and Vince Miller; great grandchildren, Emily Lancaster and Bentlee Davis. Family and friends will gather at 2:15 p.m. on Friday, November 15, 2013 at Jefferson Memorial Gardens for a 2:30 p.m. military graveside funeral service.
