Spaghetti Casserole
This spaghetti casserole is a real crowd pleaser. It makes a large amount of creamy, delicious spaghettiness (yes, that’s a word in my vocabulary) and takes less than 45 minutes to prepare. It’s a win-win meal in my book.
Ingredients
1 pound ground beef
40-45 oz prepared spaghetti sauce
16 oz spaghetti
1 jar (16 oz) Cheez Whiz *
8 oz sour cream
1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
Directions
Preheat oven to 350ºF.
Brown ground beef in large skillet; drain off excess fat. Stir in spaghetti sauce and simmer for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Cook spaghetti according to package directions; drain. Blend Cheez Whiz and sour cream into spaghetti and mix well to combine. Stir meat mixture into pasta mixture.
Pour mixture into 11” x 14” baking pan. Sprinkle mozzarella cheese on top. Bake for 20-25 minutes, until cheese is melted.
* Cheez Whiz can usually be found near the Velveeta cheese.
