Invitation to bid

The Jefferson County Purchasing Department will be accepting sealed bids from qualified vendors for lawn mowing & trimming of county facilities and school sites. We will accept separate bids for the county facilities and school facilities. There will be a mandatory pre-bid meeting on Tuesday, March 18, 2014 at 9:00 AM at the Jefferson County Courthouse in downtown Dandridge for vendors.   School bids will be accepted for different sites. For school site information and a schedule of pre-bid meetings contact the school maintenance office at 865-397-1156.  For county facilities contact David Longmire at 865-397-3800.  These contracts will be effective from April 2014 to December 2014

Sealed bids should be mailed to the Jefferson County Finance Department to the attention of Darrell Helton, Finance Director, P. O. Box 1749, Dandridge, TN. 37725.   Bids will be accepted until 1:00 PM Tuesday, March 25, 2014 at which time bids will be opened in the finance office.

The Finance Director reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids and to waive any and all irregularities in the receipt/handling and acceptance of bids.
