League of Women Voters Legislative Brunch

The League of Women Voters’ Annual Legislative Briefing will be held Saturday, April 12, 11:30 AM, at Perkins Restaurant, exit 417, Dandridge. This year’s event will feature a “dutch-treat Legislative Brunch” instead of a breakfast. The League welcomes State Representative Andrew Farmer who will conduct the briefing. This is an opportunity to learn about new laws that affect our daily lives and other actions taken by the Tennessee State Legislature during this session.

The local community and all League members are invited to attend this important presentation. This marks the conclusion of the League’s regularly scheduled programs for the season. Regular programs will resume in the fall.

Upcoming events: The LWV Annual Potluck Picnic will be held Tuesday, May 13, arrangements to be announced later. In view of the upcoming election, the LWV will host a Candidates Forum on June 19, 6:30 PM., at the Election Commission conference room .
