This program is offered in partnership with UT Extension-Jefferson County and Carson-Newman University’s Family & Consumer Sciences  Department. During the cooking demonstration, seniors will learn how to make meals with less sodium and fat. There will also be discussion on sugar alternatives and cooking simple meals for one or two people. The program will be held at the state-of-the-art Bosch-Thermador food laboratory in Blye-Poteat Hall on the Carson-Newman campus in Jefferson City. There is no fee to attend, but space is limited so pre-registration is required.
