Jason Randolph Announces Candidacy for Jefferson County General Sessions Court Judge

Dandridge attorney Jason Randolph has announced his candidacy for Jefferson County General Sessions Court Judge in the May 6th Republican primary.

Randolph is the only veteran running for the position having served in the United States Marine Corps infantry. During his service he was deployed to Saudi Arabia for Operation Desert Storm where he earned the National Defense Medal, Sea Service Deployment Ribbon, Southwest Asia Service Medal, and both Kuwaiti Liberation Medals. Randolph believes that veterans are valuable assets to the community. “Veterans are people who were not selfish. They sacrificed themselves and chose to serve our country to protect our freedoms and rights for little financial gain.”

The son of a career sheriff’s deputy in Greene County, Randolph worked for 4 years at the Greene County Sheriff’s Department before attending college. He is the first member of his family to earn a college degree. Randolph received his Bachelors degree and law degree from The University of Tennessee.

After graduating law school in 2000, Randolph began to practice law in Jefferson County. He has been primarily a courtroom trial attorney from the beginning and has experience in about every court across many counties in East Tennessee. He has practiced in the Jefferson County General Sessions Criminal and Civil courts, Juvenile and Probate Courts extensively for fourteen years. He has a highly successful practice built on hard work, ethics and integrity. Randolph has a proven track record of helping people. Often times he helps veterans, public servants and those in need for a reduced fee. He pledges to be fair and impartial and follow the law. “The judiciary may not infringe upon the constitution and the individual liberties of our citizens.” “The rule of law is the foundation of civilized society.”

Randolph is the Husband of Kristy Burns Randolph and Father to Carter and Mercedes. “As a father and husband family is important to me.” “I am aware of the challenges facing our families and youth because I am living those just like most other families.”

He attends Freedom Fellowship Church in White Pine. Randolph is a constitutional conservative who believes that people should be held responsible for their actions. He is a life long Republican.
