Dandridge Music On The Town Gets An Early Start

Folks looking for a flash from the past had to look no further than the Historic Town Square in Dandridge on Friday evening. The first Friday in May marked the kick off of Music on the Town, an annual September event that is branching out to include the summer months this year. Kicking off the event for 2014 was The Pete Stetson Band, who filled the square with lively 50’s and 60’s music. Many of the local shops stayed open late and other vendors participated with tent booths. Music on the Town is historically a favorite of locals and visitors. The additional performances will provide an opportunity to inject some steamy tunes into the hot summer nights.
