Bauder Earns CoSDA Academic All-Disrict Accolade

Carson-Newman track and field’s Anna Bauder collected an academic All-District honor from CoSIDA to become C-N’s fourth all-district honoree this season. 

Bauder is a junior sprinter and history major with a 3.92 grade point average. 

She Had her best time of her career in the 55-meter dash during indoor season with a 7.43 at Appalachian State Invitational.  

Bauder tallied a 13.49 in the 100-meter dash at the PowerSox Invitational for her top time of the year. She was a member of the Eagles’ 4×400 relay team that smashed a school record by two seconds with a 4:12. At the same event, she turned in a 27.46 for the 200-mete.

Off the track she’s a member of Alpha Chi – a service and honor society open to the top 10 percent of the junior and senior class.
