ETSU to Host First “Friday Night Lights” Football Camp for High School Athletes

ETSU football head coach Carl Torbush and the Buccaneers’ coaching staff are inviting high school players to an on-campus camp this  Friday night, June 6th at the ETSU/MSHA Athletic Center.

High school players who are entering grades 9th through 12th are eligible to participate in the camp, which will run from 6 to 9 p.m. Registration is set for 5 p.m. to 6 p.m., and will be located on the first floor of the Dome’s west side near the BucSports Athletic Training Center. The cost of the camp is $30, and participants will receive an ETSU football t-shirt.

“This is a great opportunity for area high school players to come out and improve their skills and techniques, and get to know our coaching staff,” Torbush said. “We’re excited about offering these young men a chance to come onto campus and participate in our first ETSU football camp.”

Players who plan to participate in the clinic should wear workout gear and bring along both indoor gym shoes, as well as outdoor cleats. Participants should also bring a helmet, and quarterbacks should bring their own football.

Each individual must also have their medical insurance policy information to be allowed to participate.
