School Is Out – Now What?

My kids have only been out of school for a few days and they are already bored. Do you know of any free or cheap things to do this summer to keep them busy?

It is often difficult for children to gear down after a busy school year. You might try some structured weekly events, like children’s library time. In addition to books, there are often crafts and guests that are interesting. If your children like to swim, a season pass to the swimming pool is not very expensive and you can use it almost every day. Please be cautioned that most pools require children to have adult supervision. Bible School is another great way to entertain kids in the summer and there are several around to choose from. Summer sports leagues and craft classes are also great and usually not that expensive.
