This has all the flavor and wonderfulness of the traditional dish while being so much easier to prepare – it’s a one pot meal with no rolling! Please note – this makes a huge amount of food that could be your entire meal, no side dishes necessary.

1 T olive oil

1 ½ pounds ground beef

2 cloves garlic, chopped

1 small cabbage, chopped

2 15 oz cans crushed tomatoes

8 oz tomato sauce

½ t smoked paprika

1 t salt

½ t pepper

Directions

Heat oil in large nonstick skillet over medium high heat. Add beef, onion, and garlic and cook until beef is browned. Drain off most of the fat.
