Dandridge Celebrates With Back To School Bash & Music On The Town feat. GRITS

The Town of Dandridge hosted a Back to School Bash in conjunction with their Music on the Town series on Friday evening. Children’s events kicked off earlier in the afternoon but battled less than cooperative weather. GRITS, a local favorite band that has a bluesy groove, was the headliner for the event. As is typical for Music on the Town, food was offered for purchase before and during the event, as various local vendors take turns throughout the music series. Music on the Town is a free, family friendly event that is located behind Town Hall in Dandridge. Those that haven’t yet made it to one of the concerts will still have the opportunity in September. Bring a chair and a fist full of anticipation for a great evening of music. Music on the Town is one of the longest running annual events in Dandridge and it is a wonderful way to spend some quality community time in the Historic Town Square.
