Leo Club Spiffs Up Maury Middle

The Maury Middle School Leo Club spent several hours this week adding some beautifying touches to their campus. Planting fall flowers was the order of the day for the MMS Leo Club members and their advisor Elaine Browning. The Leo Club is the Alpha division of the Dandridge Lion’s Club, which serves as the Leo’s sponsor, and is a philanthropic organization that is designed to promote community involvement through fun, engaging opportunities. The acronyms for LEO stand for leadership, experience and opportunity. The beautification project is just one of several that the Leo Club will undertake during the year and the attractive outcome of this week’s work proved to be a lovely addition to the Hornet’s nest.
