New Market School Celebrates With Fall Festival

New Market School welcomed the season and the community with a Fall Festival on Friday evening at New Market Elementary School. Students, parents and school staff enjoyed a night of spooky fun, with games, a costume contest and haunted house. The funraiser also included a silent auction of creative pumpkins dressed in story book fashion, as well as some baskets. Children of all ages enjoyed the old fashioned event that came complete with hay rides for those looking for a unique way to travel. Many students came dressed to impress, as a highlight of the night was a costume contest. In keeping with seasonal activities, New Market Elementary School will host a Gobble Wobble on November 15, 2014. The School’s first 5k Run will kick off at 10am and pre registration is going on now.
