Annual Thanksgiving Dinner at Brazelton Lodge November, 27th, 2014

For the last 13 years the churches in Dandridge have hosted an annual Thanksgiving Dinner. This year we will again be serving a traditional Thanksgiving Dinner with turkey, and dressing, mashed potatoes and gravy, green beans, cranberry sauce, rolls coffee and tea, pumpkin and pecan pies, and angel food cake for our diabetic friends.

We began this annual event 12 years ago in the hopes that we could come together as a community to celebrate the Thanksgiving season. Last year we enjoyed serving and fellowship with nearly 600 folks and we hope this year we will see many more celebrating together as a community.

Wouldn’t it be nice not to have to prepare that big meal and then have to clean up? It seems that during those special holiday times someone is always stuck in the kitchen and misses the quality time visiting with those special people in our lives. So make plans to eat with your family, friends, and neighbors at the Brazelton Lodge on Highway 92 across the street from the First Baptist Church of Dandridge and do away with all the preparation and cleanup so that you can truly enjoy those special people during the Thanksgiving season.

We’ll be serving from 11:00 am until 2:00 pm on November 27th. No advance reservations are required, just come and be thankful for all that we have as a community and as a nation.
