Runners Brave Cold At Gobble Wobble 5k

New Market Elementary School hosted the Gobble Wobble on Saturday morning to benefit the local school. Appropriately named, in light of the season, the event was well received by the community. More than 50 runners braved the cold weather to make the 5k run and some students also joined in the adventure by running a 1k. School Principal Forgety was on hand Saturday morning, as well as a dedicated group of volunteers committed to making the race a success. This is the first annual Gobble Wobble for the school and it combined the commitment to physical fitness with fundraising to create the funraising event. The names of winners for the Gobble Wobble were not available at the time of print and will be posted as they become available.
