Jefferson City Bank Robbery

TriSummit Bank in Jefferson City was robbed on Monday, November 24, 2014, according to information released by the Jefferson City Police Department. Jefferson County Sheriff GW (Bud) McCoig provided information on the robbery via reports from the Jefferson City Police Department.

According to information released, a male wearing dark jeans and a shiny, black, hooded jacket and sun glasses produced a short, black handgun. No race was listed on the report, however the suspect is described as likely being between 6’2 and 6’5. A red truck with a silver tool box was seen leaving the scene. The incident was dispatched at 6:05 pm and Jefferson City Police are heading the investigation. The Jefferson County Sheriff’s Department was notified of the robbery and are, also, on the look out for trucks or individuals matching the description of the vehicle leaving the scene or the suspect.
