Santa Makes Appearance In Dandridge

Santa came to Jefferson County a little early this year and this time around he was taking lists instead of checking them. The Main Street Coffee and Sweet Shoppe played host to Santa and a host of children ready to sit on his lap and go over their Christmas lists. Madison Photography provided the keepsake photos of the event, which is a part of the Christmas in Dandridge activities. In addition to the jolly head elf, many stores and businesses located in the Historic Town Square hosted their open houses during the Thursday evening Santa event. This is the first year that photos with Santa were not held on a Saturday morning. However, a little late week Christmas fun seemed to be just the thing to keep spirits bright and Santa’s early visit means more time to check those items off the wish list.
