Star Studded Night At Thomas Tavern In Dandridge

Bill Landry, of The Heartland Series, was at Thomas Tavern Gifts & Smoke Shop in Dandridge on Thursday evening for a book signing. This is not the first time that the local shop has hosted Landry and he enjoys a strong following in the region. He was on hand to sign copies of his books, including his new children’s book Buddy: Dog of the Smoky Mountains. Landry was joined by another regional favorite, Sam Venable, who has lent his humorous perspective to a host of books. Also at the event was playwright Lisa Soland who was signing her first children’s book which has a holiday theme. The Hutchins, who are owners of Thomas Tavern, spent their 49th wedding anniversary hosting the book signings and open house. One year short of their 50th anniversary, the Hutchins proved that every year is golden when shared with such a talented line up of local celebrities.
