Some New 2015 Trends

Darlings, a new trend is here! This is one that I have long thought of and dared to wear a couple of times: mismatched earrings. Oh, how I have longed for not loosing a precious ear ring and having to cast the other aside, or trying to match a new one with a spare.  The voice of fashion has spoken: Vogue has announced the new trend and this is a fashion blessing.  Weep no more about ear rings. Just select a short one and a longer one for a fashion statement, and smile knowing there are plenty of ear rings waiting in one’s jewelry treasure chest that now can be worn!

Gingham, yes, the fabric of table clothes and tea towels, is a 2015 fashion must.  This sweet, charming fabric is being used for attire from suits to shorts.  Gingham has always been a favorite of mine, so feminine and soft like a light summer breeze.

White nail polish is a refreshing new look.  A fashion trend that caught on fire years ago, it has returned with many shades of white.  Deborah Lippman introduces her shade, Amazing Grace, which is to be painted with 3 thin layers for an opaque look.  Chanel’s shade, Eastern Light, has a slight blue tint, Essie has Essie Blanc as her chosen white, Sally Hansen’s Big Matt Top Coat covers white polish giving it a porcelain finish, and, last but not least, Pearly Queen, by Butter of London, is an elegant choice.

I am looking forward to trying the white nail trend!
