Dandridge First United Methodist Church New Hope Sunday School Class will host the 30^th Annual Chili Supper and Auction on Saturday, January 31, 2015. The meal will consist of mild, medium and hot chili, as well as potato soup for those that favor a more mellow fare. Homemade desserts and drinks are included in the $5 cost and children under the age of 6 eat free. Serving begins at 5:00 pm and carry out orders are available starting at noon.

A Silent and Regular Auction of baskets, art, jewelry and other items will begin at 6pm. Proceeds from the auction help fund the Shannon Memorial Scholarship Program. The scholarship is awarded to a deserving graduate at Jefferson County High School. $108,000 in scholarships has been made available since 1992. Coach Shannon was a member of the Dandridge First United Methodist Church and the New Hope Sunday School Class.
