Pointed Toe Flats and Skinny Jeans

This spring and summer the pointed toe flats are making a big change from the round toe that has been in fashion for a few years. Flats styled in the pointed toe manner will compliment the legs more than the round toe, which makes the legs appear shorter.  I thought the round toe shoes were cute, but I could not wear them; no matter what size I tried my toes hurt constantly. Needless to say, I am very happy to have the pointed toe in fashion!

Petite darlings, NYDJ, Not Your Daughter’s Jeans, have the largest selection of skinny jeans, jeggings, leggings, and a great array of snazzy fabrics.  No alterations are needed as the petite NYDJ may even be worn home from the store. No worrying about your favorite choice being too long and having to wait days for alterations. Just go online to NYDJ, or almost any large department store has a selection.  Nordstrom’s department store has a vast array for the petite size, so jump online and shop like there is no tomorrow!

Remember my column reporting the white nail is in?  Most stores now have any shade of white and top coat one could desire.

I chose the Essie white polish and the Transforming Effects top coat that has the look of a pearl with a faint touch of iridescent pale pink, creating a beautiful look of rare, perfect pearl nails.  The look reminds me of the changing colors white sand as the sun kisses the beach with brilliance.
