Addyson’s 5th Annual Autism Awareness Event and Fun Walk will take place at Cherokee Park in Morristown on Saturday March 28 at 11 a.m.  This event is FREE and open to the public to kick off Autism Awareness Month (April) with information tables, a performance by Sunshine Ambassadors, musical guest, balloon release, art station for kids, free face painting, and other fun activities for the whole family.

To order this year’s autism awareness tee shirt, contact Miranda Jackson at mirandajackson58@yahoo.com or 865-809-0438.  Funds from the event’s tee shirt sales will be donated to Artistic Spectrum, an East Tennessee organization providing creative & recreational opportunities for people with autism.

Artistic Spectrum is a Knoxville-based nonprofit with a mission to provide creative and recreational opportunities for children and adults with autism spectrum disorders, and to promote awareness of the ways people with ASD can contribute to the East Tennessee community.  Artistic Spectrum board members plan sensory-friendly fine arts workshops and family fun days for individuals with ASD.
