Will Flowering Trees Be Sparse This Year?

I have become a little concerned about my red bud trees because they just don’t seem to be as colorful as years past. Now I am wondering if I should expect all my flowering trees to be sparse this year and if there is something that I can do?

Late hard winter weather has some flowering trees blooming late this year. Experts are saying that most will survive February’s deep freeze and icy conditions, as well as the most recent cold snap, but they may not be as colorful and some may actually not flower at all. The good news is that most will recover and should be back in full splendor by next spring.
