Pack 77 Competes in Annual Pinewood Derby

Boy Scout Pack 77 hosted their Pinewood Derby on Saturday March 28, 2015, at Dandridge Elementary School. Sponsors for the event were Ed Franklin Realty and KNE Trophy in White Pine. The track was alive with the ambitions of every racer, and though all raced well, Bear Scout Hunter Trent prevailed with his car: the Green Hornet. Bear Scout Thomas Zuber followed closely into second place with his #8. Third place was snagged by Jacob Patterson, a Wolf Scout, who raced the Batmobile, while Webelos Scout Aiden Thompson followed in fourth place with his Lightning. Three “Best of Show” recognitions were given, with Dylan Whitaker taking first place. Second place was claimed by Nicholas Estrella, and third place was seized by Jacob Patterson.
