Wagley Exits Chamber

Garrett Wagley, the Economic Development Director for the Jefferson County Chamber, has announced that he is leaving that position to enter into private business. He will stay on at the chamber for ninety days to allow for a smooth transition with the new director. Chamber President Darrell Helton said, “While I regret Garrett leaving, I understand his desire to start and develop his own business. He has done an outstanding job for the chamber and will be missed. We wish him luck and success in his new venture.”

Wagley has worked for the chamber since 2012 after working for the Knoxville Chamber for several years. The Chamber board has formed a search committee to seek his replacement.
