Honoring the Memory of Martin Dail

Former Jefferson County Educator and active community member, the late Martin Luther Dail, was honored this week with the naming of a street in the Strawberry Plains Community and with a resolution from the Jefferson County Commission. Family members and friends gathered at Rush Strong School, where Dail served as Principal during his long tenure with the Jefferson County Department of Education, to mark the naming of a road in his honor on Saturday afternoon. Several friends and faculty members offered memories of Dail’s time at the helm of the Plainsmen and his dedication to his friends and neighbors.

District 6 County Commissioners Blevins and Eslinger presented the Dail Family with a resolution commemorating Martin’s contributions to Strawberry Plains and Jefferson County, during Monday’s County Commission meeting.
