Getting Pretty

It has been said that it takes a village to raise a child and it could be equally said that it takes a community to make a town. Dandridge Mayor George Gantte, Alderman Mike Nelson and a group of dedicated community members put their time and sweat equity where there heart is and beautified the Historic Town Square in downtown Dandridge. Lovely hanging baskets filled with flowers and plants now adorn the sidewalks for visitors and town folk to enjoy. Sprucing up the square will be especially appreciated when local events, such as the farmer’s market, the Crusin’ and Groovin’ Car Show and June Jubilee come to the streets of town!
