New Market Hosts Summerfest 2015

The New Market Volunteer Fire Dept. hosted their annual Summerfest last weekend. A two day event, Summerfest is a major fund raiser for the active department. Even high winds and rain did not dampen the enthusiasm that surrounds a special announcement of an additional sub station that has been highly anticipated. The festival kicked off with gospel music on Friday evening and ended with a dance on Saturday night, where the community kicked up their heels in support of their local firefighters.
