PUBLIC NOTICE

Job Opening: Veteran’s Service Officer of Jefferson County. Resumes for the position will be accepted up through July 16, 2015. This is a full-time position and includes county benefits. Applicants must be an honorably discharged veteran from any service branch, proficient using MS Office products, and must provide verifiable experience in organizational, managerial, and communication skills. Candidate must be a current resident of Jefferson County or willing to relocate before accepting the position. The successful candidate must attain a Veteran’s Service Officer (VSO) certification within six (6) months of being hired and must be willing to attend mandatory annual Veteran’s Administration (VA) training.
