Attention All Persons Requiring Environmental and Building Permits and Assistance From Jefferson County

Due to budget cuts by Jefferson County Commission the Environmental Office and Building Inspection Office will no longer be able to provide 24 hour turn around service. You are advised to call for an appointment in advance. A minimum of 14 days should be given to provide assistance and schedule service.

Due to budget cuts you may have to leave a message and someone will return your call when possible.

We regret we are forced to discontinue our immediate and 24 hour turn around service to assist your needs. We will work with you any way we can but are unable to conduct business as in the past.
