Hollie McGhee was crowned Fairest Of The Fair 2015 this past weekend at the Jefferson County Fair. Hollie is the 16 year old daughter of David and Cindy McGhee of New Market. She is a rising Junior and honor student at Jefferson County High School. In the fall she will be entering Walter State Community College as a dual enrollment student taking classes in the medical field. Community service projects, hiking with her family and shopping are among her many likes. Hollie recently participated in a mission trip to North Carolina where she spent time helping homeless families in local shelters and volunteered with disabled persons to help make home repairs and improvements. She is a member of HOSA and the Pep Club. Her future plans include entering East Tennessee State University and obtaining a degree in Dental Hygiene. She is currently a member of Dumplin Baptist Church where she has been involved in multiple aspects of the Childrens Ministry including helping with the food pantry to make sure area elderly have food to eat as well as clothing drives to ensure families in need have clothing for their children.
