For the sixth consecutive year in East Tennessee, individuals and families living with disabilities are invited to a free event that will feature kayaking, bank fishing, boat rides, arts, crafts, archery, games, food and more.

Tennova Healthcare is a primary sponsor of the Access-Life Expo this year, an event that will have a positive impact on the disability community in the region.

“The expo will provide a great opportunity for children with special needs and their families to come out and enjoy fun, wholesome activities together,” said Robert Downing, chief financial officer of Jefferson Memorial Hospital, and father to a special needs daughter. “Tennova is pleased to partner with Access-Life on this event as it provides support and encouragement for families living with disabilities. It will be one of the largest special needs gatherings in Tennessee this year.”

Access-Life Expos are designed to provide a time of Christ-centered encouragement, support and fun for individuals of all ages and families living with disabilities. Parents find respite and a venue of support, siblings experience friendships outside the family dynamic, and individuals with disabilities have the opportunity to do things they never believed they could do.
