Over the past few years, Dandridge Elementary School (DES) has worked hard to revitalize the facility, both indoors and outdoors.  Part of this revitalization included the purchase and installation of a new entrance sign.  The DES staff and Parent Teacher Organization (PTO) hosted a Spring Fling fundraiser and Modern Woodmen matched $1250.00 toward the purchase price of the sign.

The sign design is simple, classic and attractive in fitting with the historic Dandridge community.  It also coordinates with other nearby signage.  The sign is the first impression one makes of the school, and it is meant to be a handshake with the community.  The PTO hopes it is an inviting welcome to those who attend and visit the school grounds and area.

Modern Woodmen has played a vital role in the school facility’s outside grounds renovations.  Monies have been given over the last three years through Modern Woodmen Plant a Tree, Good Neighbor Beautification and Matching Funds programs.  DES staff and PTO would like to give a big “Thank You!” to Modern Woodmen and all of the community members who have donated time and money in support of the revitalization efforts.

The PTO is thrilled to recognize that DES is celebrating its 30th anniversary and is proud of the staff, students and facility.  If you would like to help support the school’s revitalization efforts, please mail checks or money to Dandridge Elementary School 780 Hwy 92 S Dandridge, TN 37725 attn. Tommy Arnold Grounds Revitalization.
