Music on the Town Starts with a Bang

Dandridge kicked off their 11th Annual Music on the Town event on Thursday evening, September 3, 2015. Opening for the event were The Grascals, an award winning bluegrass band known for their cutting edge style in their genre. The evening was hot on Thursday, and so were The Grascals, as they brought big city music to the Historic Town Square in Dandridge and the crowd was appreciative of the great tunes, as well as the return of a much anticipated favorite event.
Music on the Town will be a weekly event, starting at 7pm on Thursdays, through mid October. Shows in September, like this weeks’ stellar performance, will be held behind Town Hall in the Historic Town Square in Dandridge. October shows will be hosted at the Field of Dreams Activity Center in Dandridge. C. Vaughn Leslie & Boys’ Night Out will be performing on Thursday, September 10, 2015. Bring a lawn chair and an appetite, as different local restaurants will be offering concessions for purchase throughout the concert series.
