When Can We Buy Pumpkins?

I was wondering when I will be able to purchase a pumpkin? I know that they are not out yet but will they be out soon?

Actually, it will still be a couple of weeks yet before it is safe to by a pumpkin. The local pumpkin patches will be up and running around mid month and local greenhouses will begin to get their pumpkin stock in. Use caution if you happen to find a pumpkin earlier than mid month because they will most likely not make it until Halloween. If you are not opposed to purchasing a separate Halloween pumpkin, you may be able to make an early purchase at a big box retailer.
