Rain Doesn’t Dampen Old Time Saturday

It takes more than torrential rain to dampen a thirty year old event and Old Time Saturday was proof that spirit and a really good umbrella can best even the rainiest of days. The 30th annual Old Time Saturday came to Jefferson City on Saturday, October 3, 2015. One of the most anticipated events in Jefferson County, Old Time Saturday gives a glimpse into the past with featured displays and trade demonstrations, while providing something for everyone to enjoy. From vendors to food and music, folks braved the weather to set up booths and they were not disappointed because, despite the heavy rain, people didn’t let the opportunity pass to celebrate three decades of the popular festival. Most came armed with an umbrella, ready to shop, dance and eat, showing Mother Nature that just because it is wet doesn’t mean that the party is over and it takes more than a little moisture to dampen the Grande Dame of events in Jefferson City.
