Jefferson County Nursing Home Celebrates Halloween

Residents at the Jefferson County Nursing Home had a real treat on Friday, as trick or treaters made their way down the halls of the facility. The Nursing Home staff dressed in their favorite costumes, much to the delight of the residents, and residents doled out candy to the trick or treaters. Halloween is an exciting time of the year at Jefferson County Nursing Home and the staff and residents spend fun hours preparing for the holiday. Residents at the facility have a wide variety of daily activities that they participate in but none are more enjoyed than preparation for a holiday. With the passing of Halloween, staff and residents will turn their eyes toward the upcoming Veteran’s Day, Thanksgiving and Christmas holidays to share the special contributions that the residents bring to the community.
