Berrier to Lead Annual New Market Christmas Parade, Dec. 20, 2015

As of the last Dr. appointment checkup in August of this year, the family was told that Mason’s progress was pleasing to the medical staff, and requested that follow ups be conducted in 2 year intervals unless something else came up!

Also the 2015 New Market Community Club Snowball King and Queen Mike & Maxine Alexander will be featured. Kerbela Shriners from across the local area will be performing during the annual parade.

Parade officials welcome and encourage all civic, community, individuals and Emergency Agency, to enter floats, decorated Vehicle and Tractors, 4 wheelers, and Any motorized vehicle, horses & etc. to enter the parade since there is no entry fee to participate. Parade officials encourage all participants and entries to follow and use a Christmas theme!

The lineup will begin @ 1:00 – 1 :45 P.M. on the day of the parade and as in years past the lineup will begin on the Old Andrew Johnson Highway just west of the Reed Bull Road intersection heading towards Knoxville.  There are no changes to the parade route: starting at the Lost Creek Golf Club, traveling up old Andrew Johnson Highway to the corner of Church View Street Across, turning right on to Highway 11 E towards the Railroad underpass, right on to Mill Springs Road, and then left onto Volunteer Street and then to New Market Community Center.  Due to size restrictions with the Railroad underpass all parade units must be able to go through and clear the sides of the underpass on Church View street since the maximum clearance is only 9 ft., 2 in. tall!

All participants and interested persons needing to find out about parade details are encouraged to listen to WJFC radio Station in Jefferson City on 1480 AM and FM 102.9.
