Preschool Pre-Registration

Your child may be eligible

The following information must be provided:

Birth Certificate, Social Security Card, Proof of Residency

Proof of Household Income: earned and unearned

Kindergarten

Do you have a child entering Kindergarten in the fall?

Jefferson County Schools Family Resource Center offers this “free” required screening throughout the school year. The screening needs to be completed prior to Kindergarten registration. Vision screenings are also offered, alond with a speech/language evaluation, if needed. Referals are made for further evlauations and early intervention.

This is a great way to get your child ready for Kindergarten! Tips and ideas for kindergarten readiness will be provided.

Kindergarten parent registration is offered throughout the county. Please contact your child’s school for further information.
