Modern Woodmen Helps Give Historic Downtown Dandridge A Floral Facelift

Many residents and tourists may have noticed that the Historic District in Downtown Dandridge was part of a beautification effort this past weekend as flowers were popping up all over town, thanks to a generous donation by Richard Hall, Modern Woodmen of America.  Late Friday evening, a group consisting of Richard Hall, Aldermen, Administrators, Town Maintenance, local Merchants and families made quick work of planting flowers and filling flower pots throughout the Downtown area.  The floral facelift was in good timing with the opening of the Dandridge Farmer’s Market which will open early for plant sales on May 7 and local produce and products on May 14 through October 29, 2016.
