In 2014, the Mossy Creek Cruzers Car Club started a classic and antique car club at Jefferson County High School. Scott Noe and Carl Crigger, teachers at the high school, agreed to lead this club. The students decided to name their club The Mossy Creek Junior Cruzers Car Club.

The club was formed to ensure that the enthusiasm for antique and classic vehicles carried into the future with these students.

On Saturday, April 30th, the students had their second car show. It was held at Jefferson County High School from 10 am until 3 pm. Around 30 or 35 vehicles attended to help support this group, with the fees going to the school’s car club fund so that the club can continue and tackle any expenses it may incur.

There were food vendors set up to serve hot dogs, chips, and hamburgers to those that entered their cars, as well as to spectators, and 50s and 60s music played throughout the day. The Mossy Creek Cruzers parent club supported this show with about a dozen members’ entering their vehicles.

Many people brought their lawn chairs to sit around and talk to old and new friends, and to get to know all of these nice Junior Cruzers, all of whom were friendly and helpful. These students are well on their way to becoming future car club members!
