Mother’s Day Cup and Tea

Materials:

White ceramic tea cup

Acrylic paints

Paintbrushes

Tea bags

Pencil and paper

Clear cellophane paper

Ribbon

Directions:

Design the cup with hearts, flowers, rainbows, etc. or anything your mom might like. Practice drawing them with a pencil and paper.

If you paint the outside of the teacup, using acrylic paints and paintbrushes, do not paint the top of the cup where your mom will sip, as acrylic paint should not be put where mouth is in contact.

After the paint has dried, carefully paint on the designs. You may also write her name or “World’s Best Mom”, etc..

Put a collection of tea bags inside the cup, enough to fill it up.

Wrap the cup with clear cellophane paper and then tie the top closed with a pretty ribbon.
