Tennova Healthcare Nurses Recognized for Excellence
Forty-seven registered nurses from seven Tennova hospitals honored at May 9 awards dinner
In recognition of National Nurses Week, 47 registered nurses from Tennova Healthcare were honored at the 2016 Nurse Excellence Awards Dinner at the Knoxville Convention Center on May 9. National Nurses Week begins each year on May 6 and ends on May 12, Florence Nightingale’s birthday.
Sponsored by the Regional Cooperative for Professional Nurses, the Nurse Excellence Award is given annually to nurses who epitomize the profession and serve as role models for nurses everywhere. The following Tennova nurses were honored this year:
