Saturday June 18, 2016 found the streets of downtown Dandridge teaming with people, as June Jubilee 2016 came to town. This was the second returning year of the popular event after almost decade hiatus and, if the sophomore year is any indication, the festival is back with full force. Colorful tents lined Main Street, as vendors showed their talents and wares to festival goers. Everything from wood turning to quilters and contemporary clothing to vintage jewelry could be found in abundance. One necessary component to any great festival is a bountiful selection of fun, favorite foods and there was no shortage of wonderful things to eat at the June Jubilee. From sweet to savory to cool and spicy, whatever the pallet desired could be found.

A fantastic line up of music and entertainment kept the crowd moving from kick off to close. No matter what the favorite genre of music, there was a band and artist for everyone. Special activities included a fantastic dog show that put some of the cutest fur babies in the area on display for the crowd’s viewing pleasure. A fashion show from Habitat for Humanity Restore, dancing and cheering from the Jags and vocals from Lighthouse Church kept the action going throughout the day. For the kids, Mr. Bill’s Hoot and Holler was on hand to make the festival a magical experience!

June Jubilee 2016 would not be possible without the generous support of local sponsors. Please be sure to check out the sponsors and show them appreciation for their part in making June Jubilee a wonderful event!
